Where is Palazzo del Golfo located?
We’re located on Via Generale Michele di Gaetano in Castellammare del Golfo, just a few minutes’ walk from the marina, restaurants, historical center, and Lido Petrolo Beach.
How far is the beach?
Lido Petrolo is less than a 10-minute walk. Spiaggia Plaja is just an 8-minute drive and offers wide sandy areas and beach clubs.
Is parking available?
Yes, free street parking is nearby. We also offer a private garage by reservation for an additional cost.
Are shops and services close by?
Yes, there are grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes, and ATMs within walking distance.
Apartment Features and Layout
Are the apartments on one level?
Yes, both apartments are single-floor units. This is rare in Castellammare del Golfo and makes them perfect for families or groups wanting open, easy-flowing space.
How many people can stay?
Palazzo del Golfo can accommodate up to 22 guests. The Penthouse sleeps up to 9 guests, and the Terrazzo apartment sleeps up to 13. Cribs are available on request.
How many bathrooms are there?
Each apartment has two full bathrooms with walk-in showers and fresh towels.
Is there a living room?
Yes, the Terrazzo apartment has a large open living room with seating and natural light.
What’s included in the kitchen?
Each kitchen includes an oven, stovetop, large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, cookware, utensils, Italian espresso machine, American-style coffee maker, kettle, toaster, and a big dining table.
Is there a washing machine?
Yes, each apartment includes a private washing machine.
Outdoor Spaces and Views
Do the apartments have terraces or balconies?
Yes. The Penthouse has two large private rooftop terraces on different levels with views of the Mediterranean Sea and Mount Inici. The Terrazzo apartment has a large covered dining terrace and private balconies off most bedrooms.
Are the rooftop terraces private?
Yes, both rooftop terraces are private and exclusive to the Penthouse apartment.
Comfort and Amenities
Is there air conditioning?
Yes, every room has its own AC unit.
Is it quiet at night?
Yes, the apartments have new double-glazed windows that help reduce noise.
Do bedrooms have blackout curtains or shutters?
Yes, all bedrooms have either blackout curtains or traditional Sicilian shutters.
Is internet included?
Yes, free internet is available in every apartment.
Is there a Smart TV?
Yes, each apartment has a Smart TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, and more.
Is smoking allowed?
No, smoking is not permitted inside the apartments.
Services and Policies
Is midweek cleaning available?
Yes, midweek cleaning with fresh towels and linens is available for an extra fee. Please book in advance.
Do you offer airport transfers?
We don’t offer transfers directly, but we’re happy to help arrange private airport transportation with trusted local drivers.
Can you help plan our stay?
Yes. We’re happy to provide local tips and help with restaurant reservations, day trips, and activities.
Do you provide beach towels or gear?
Yes, beach towels are included. We recommend visiting nearby lidos for chair and umbrella rentals, which are much more affordable than in mainland Italy.
Do you offer luggage storage?
Yes, we offer luggage storage before check-in and after checkout upon request.
Are pets allowed?
No, we do not allow pets at this time.
Booking and Check-In
Is self check-in available?
No. Our property manager will meet you in person upon arrival.
What is the minimum stay?
A minimum stay of 5 nights is required. Longer minimums may apply during peak season.

What is your cancellation policy?
